Front Yard Real Grass Installation in San Jacinto, CA

We recently completed a real grass installation at a home in San Jacinto, CA. The front yard had patchy grass and weeds throughout, and the homeowner wanted a full, green lawn without the long wait of growing from seed. Fresh sod was the right choice to make that happen quickly.

We started by clearing out the entire area, removing the old grass, weeds, and anything else on the surface. Once everything was cleaned up, we leveled out the soil and made sure it was graded properly so water would drain the right way.

After that, we brought in a layer of fresh topsoil to help the new grass take root. We raked it out evenly, then got to work laying down the sod. Each piece was placed tightly together with no gaps, and we pressed it down to make sure it stayed in place and had good contact with the soil.

Once all the sod was in, we gave it a deep watering and went over basic care tips with the homeowner—like how often to water and what to expect while it takes root.
