Sand Leveling & Desert Yard Design in Hemet, CA

This project in Hemet, CA focused on creating a simple, desert-style yard that would be clean, low-maintenance, and better organized. The client wanted a space that looked sharp but didn’t require constant upkeep.

We began by leveling two key areas in the yard with compacted sand. One section was in the backyard near a shed and patio, where we smoothed the surface to create a consistent base. The other section was a front yard planter area, which we reshaped and topped with fresh sand to match the desert design the client requested. Around the planter, we preserved existing rock ground cover and added a clean sand border around the cactus and other plants.

During the process, we also made minor adjustments to a few sprinkler heads to make sure they worked with the new layout. The changes were small but helped prevent water from pooling or spraying where it wasn’t needed.

Once all areas were shaped and leveled, we finished by cleaning up all the loose material and making sure the edges were clean and defined. The final look gave the yard a refreshed layout—simple, organized, and ready to enjoy.
